Dabble In the Arts

It's a sweet weekend here at Vandy--frats are opening, tailgates are sizzlin' hot, and our football team is ready to rumble! It's a time for adventure and so-so decisions; a time to try new things. With that in mind, today our street shot photo is brought to you by photographer Diana Liu instead of yours truly. It's a refreshing change of pace, because not only does she carry a lovely DSLR as opposed to my pooty little camera-thing, she's got years and years of experience. Lots more good things to come from her, by the way, so keep an eye out.

If you'll notice, our street shot today is from the same place as yesterday, which is the wall in front of Rand. Well, in the warm seasons it's a lively place, chock full of organizations advertising their merits and selling their baked goods. Want to be a DJ for WRVU? Try out for VU Off Broadway? Buy a Chic-Fil-A sandwich for a miscellaneous fundraiser? You'll find it here. As we walked out of lunch today, we ran into this girl. Her dress and turquoise sandals sure brightened my day! Also, it's hard to tell from the photo, but she had this killer cartilage earring, like a helix shaped arrow. I secretly wanted it.

Without further ado...

X0X0,

Jenn
